My whole family loves this place. All four museums are amazing! The Science Center is best for the kids. The Art and History is my favorite personally and I can just immerse myself in so much culture there. The Warhol is my wife's favorite and per the man himself, quite eccentric. This is a fantastic network of museums to have access to with a year round membership!

Very good place for people interested in science and arts. I loved both of them. Though we had to rush through many coz of the less time, you should at least have 4-5 hrs of visiting time inside the museum. There was no queue on the ticket collection counter. You can click pictures with your mobile phones though not sure about the cameras.

Haven't visited here in over 30yrs. A lot has changed since then. I'll be going back again soon 😁. Forgot how much I loved going here. By the way they're closed on Tuesdays.

I visited the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and the dinosaur exhibits are very well made, and the backgrounds used are very nice in terms of storytelling. The exhibits had a story to tell, and I really appreciated how nice everything was. The museum assistants are also very warm and helpful. The Museum of Art also had a great collection, with an Impressionist gallery with nice paintings from European artists. I enjoyed the Bourdelle and Rodin statues as well. There were enough to see for a few hours of a visit while not being very overwhelming. I loved this museum and would love to visit again.

This place has such a great array of activities to engage anyone in your party from the toddler to grandma. The kids' section in the natural history museum is great. My only complaint is that it's a pain to figure out where to pay for parking!

If you love history, you'll love the Carnegie Museums. Both the art and natural history museums are beautiful, fun, and engaging. You can easily spend hours there without seeing anything so I highly recommend making a day of it.

Took my son who is in a wheelchair. Staff was very nice and quickly pointed me in the right direction to elevators and accessible restrooms. It was a great educational trip for him and kept the adults entertained as well. Lots of exhibits and even a few "guided tours" for specific exhibits.

I grew up in Pittsburgh so maybe I'm biased, but I've also traveled extensively and have seen many other museums. I still feel that this is one of the best and most interesting museums to visit, regardless of age there is something for everyone in the family. Also recently ate at the restaurant in the museum, while expensive, the food was excellent.

As always a great place for the family to go. Parking is difficult and I wish there were more newer exhibits. But all in all prices are good for weedays and its a nice way to get out of the house.

Took my daughter here instead of to Jurassic Quest per her choice and she absolutely loved it. There is so much to see we probably only got through half of each the art and the natural history. We defiantly will be back to finish. Highly recommended for the little and adults alike

My grandson and I really enjoyed our recent outing to the Carnegie Natural History Museum. LOTS to see, and the interactive section for kids were definitely of interest to him. Only downside, the basement cafeteria was, as one may expect, expensively priced. Can't comment there on the quality though, since we only got a modest sized bag of potato chips, @ $2.50.

Loved the fact that you could get to all museums with just one entry fee... You're going to find it hard pressed to be able to finish tour of the entire museum in one day. Overall it's a great experience. The only thing I would want to see differently is more veggie options on the cafe menu!!!!!

Amazing collection of art. Super friendly staff and facilities are attractive. Cafe was great stop for coffee. Book store had just the right book to remember the visit. Senior price is great to attract cost conscious visitors. We will return to see more of the photos.

The museum contains a world class collection of fine art from many periods and schools. Its antiquities and natural history are delightful and it is all housed in a beautiful building. Be warned, however: if you are just visiting Pittsburgh, you should understand that this city fetishizes Warhol. What this translates to is an imbalanced emphasis on modern art created by 'artists' heavy on political theory but light on talent. If you focus on the other galleries within the museum you will have a delightful time...that is unless, of course, 'modern art' appeals to your sensibilities. If that is the case then you will likely have a field day.

We had a great time here, there is always something new to see. My son just loved all the interactive displays they have. This was our second trip here. Last year we bought a membership, so we wanted to take advantage of that. Plus, you really can't see everything in one trip. It can get crowded at times, but still lots of fun.

You visit Pittsburgh and you don't have the Carnegie Museum on your bucket list, that's the best way to know more about culture, history and life in the world. Precious moment.

I am a member of the museum. They have different levels. You get admission to the Carnegie museum, the Warhol, and the science center. It is well worth it. Went to see the National geographic best nature photo exhibit. It was amazing. Spent a couple of hrs at the museum yesterday

Took a trip to the museum of natural history. From the dinosaurs to the stones/minerals/gems to the Inuit (I think) display with the igloo, everything is well done and very interesting. I'm also a fan of the replicas they have of famous sculptures and stonework. And you can't beat the season pass for a family of four... Pays for itself in two trips to different museums. Worth it.

Oh man, we spent a great morning/early afternoon here! There was so much to look at, but also so MANY hands on exhibits for kids to enjoy!!! My 4 and 7 year olds loved this place. We liked the Hall of Birds and Mammals the best. (That's why there's no pictures of those areas... busy looking)

I love this place. It's been the museum of my childhood. Where I looked up at towering dinosaur bones in awe and was amazed by the Egyptian rooms. To my teen years where the art became a bit more interesting and I enjoyed the massive hall of architecture. To now as an adult where the temporary exhibits always bring something new and fascinating. There is something for everyone here.

My wife and I recently became members of the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, and we absolutely love going a few times a year to check out the exhibits. To anyone who likes to go to the museums, even occasionally, we recommend the memberships they offer. We pay for a 2 adult membership at $100 a year, covering entry to the Science Center, Andy Warhol Museum, Art Museum, and Miseum of Natural History. We also get access to other partnering facilities in other cities. When the cost of a single adult ticket now runs in the range of $20 each, this is a fantastic deal!

Good art museum for those who are too far from bigger galleries in NYC and D.C. Some well known artists represented, but mostly their less known works. The collection of statues, architectural pieces and 'ancient bronze tools' turned out to be all "casts" (i.e. replicas), not originals. And that is for $20 a person. We decided it was a one time visit to say "We were here", won't be returning.

Natural history side was amazing. We had about 3 hours, and only got thru a floor and a half. However, the Egyptian exhibit was not quite what we expected. Polar world was my favorite

I grew up being included in the Museum AND adjacent Carnegie Music Hall while my mother was part of the 90- voice Pittsburgh Downtown Chorale rehearsals for it's numerous performances in the 1940's. I grew up 2 blocks from the venue and they are the gifts of music that my mother passed on to me.

My daughter got married at the Museum. Their ceremony was on the Grand Staircase and the reception was in the Music Hall Foyer. They chose the venue because of it's beauty and grandeur. The food was wonderful also! Both were expected, but what wasn't expected was the personal service and attention to detail. After months of planning and communicating with Nicki and Cassie, the day finally came. The minute we dropped off the decorations, etc., we had confidence that it was going to be perfect, and it was!!! Our guests all said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever gone to, and that the museum staff was great also. So nice and the service was great. Thank you for making this day the most perfect and memorable day ever!!

I been to them all. Paris, London, Barcelona, New York & San Francisco. This museum needs to be in a big city so everybody can enjoy the marvelousness of it all ... it is absolutely one of the best collections, anywhere. It is the reason we would go back to Pittsburgh. This museum is fantastic and world-class.

The dinosaur exhibits are among the best in the world. CMNH scientists have long led in paleontology exploration. This is not a mere display, but an active ongoing paleontology investigation. Also, the museum's mineral and gem collections are not just strikingly organized, but are also among the most beautiful of natural history museums.

Pretty good place to see all kinds of birds, but there's not many places to park and it's kind of small. It's also in a pretty shady area.
